 abstract={A 15-year-old patient with suspected myopathy/dystrophy was examined. A biopsy of quadriceps sinister was performed.Electronmicroscopy analysis did not reveal ultrastructural changes in the structure of the muscle fibers and sarcomers architecture (Fig. 1.) We observed swollen mitochondria, characterized by light mitochondrial matrix and partly or even totally devoid of mitochondrial cristae. Myelin-like bodies were seen in some mitochondria.In this patient mitochondrial enzymatic disorders were suspected.},
