 abstract={An 38-year-old patient with suspected Becker or limb-girdle muscular dystrophy was examined. A biopsy of deltoid muscle was performed. Electronmicroscopy analysis revealed changes in muscle fibers. morphology of the contractile apparatus was unchanged, numerous vacuoles of varying diameter surrounded by a single membrane were visible. In some places, the vacuoles were in contact. Vacuoles were located in the interfibrillar spaces and remained in contact with mitochondria.},
