 abstract={The article discusses the problem of competition for power between representatives of the Home Army and the Government Delegation for Poland on the one side and Polishcommunists supported by the Kremlin which took place in Lublin at the end of July and earlyAugust 1944. The regaining of power by the local representatives of the Polish government inexile in London was to take place simultaneously with the Operation “Tempest”. Shortly afterthe disclosure, members of the Polish Underground State in Poland were arrested by the Soviets and transported to the USSR, where they were taken to NKVD special camps.},
