 abstract={In the paper, a modified version of the sequential bilateral trading scheme is proposed - it includes selection of the best partner. Market dynamics is analysed. Simulation results performed on the carbon market show that the modified procedure converges to the equilibrium point much faster than the original scheme. Moreover, the trajectories of permits traded are characterized with smaller variance. Generally, market can be described as a more "compact".},
