It has been found that in habitats where tree stands are declined, density of bilberry population drops rapidly, the plants are becoming stunted and produce fewer flowers and fruits. Among heavy metals analysed, lead was the only one, the concentration of which in the plants exceeded permissible level, especially in sites located in the lower montane zone.}, type={Text}, title={Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus L.) as an indicator of environmental state of spruce forest in Karkonosze Mts.}, URL={http://www.rcin.org.pl/Content/106132/PDF/WA058_90937_P2840-T47_Eko-Pol-A-Nr-4.pdf}, volume={47}, number={4}, journal={Polish Journal of Ecology}, publisher={Polish Academy of Sciences.
