 abstract={The aim of the paper was to assess the efficiency of production factors in Polish agriculture against the European Union. Moreover, the typology of the European Union countries according to the factor productivity was done. The analysis covered the years 2000–2012. It was proved that although efficiency of production factors definitely improved over the analysed period, the efficiency analysis is still unfavorable for Polish agriculture, what makes undertaking further structural changes necessary.},
