 abstract={This article presents the results of sociological research undertaken in 2012. Projects implemented by Local Action Groups (LAGs) from Łódz Voivodship were analyzed. The aim of the research was to define the composition of the network and their origins, theresources used in cooperation projects and their innovation. The technique of content analysis was used (in which documents of Marshal’s Office of the Łódz Region, the websites of LAGs and the websites of the cooperation projects were analyzed) as well as the technique of free interview. The interviews were conducted with the employees and the members of LAGs. The Heads of the Boards and the Heads of the Offices were the respondents. Less than a half of LAGs from Łódz Voivodship implemented cooperation projects. The networks were created by the organizations who had cooperated previously. The choice of partners was matched to the implementation of local development strategies and resources that could be used in projects. Not all used local resources and only one of them could be described as innovative in character. The funds were allocated mainly to the development of tourism and ecology.},
