Polish Academy of Sciences}, language={pol}, abstract={Calculation of the average annual rainfall erosivity factor values on the base of formerly developed artificial neural network and Modified Fournier Index method for selected gauging stations in Poland was the first aim of the research. Obtained calculation results analysis dedicated for their future use for rainfall erosivity mapping was the second complementary study aim. The research was based on the database containing average monthly precipitation totalsfor 67 gauging stations in Polandfrom years 1951-1970. Estimated by neural network average annual rainfall erosivity fac/or values for analyzed stations were at the range of 35,2 - 142, 1 1 MJ-ha· 1 ·cm H 1, and were generally /ower then calculated Modified Fournier Indexes.
