 abstract={The article attempts to analyze a new approach to rural development, in which one of the most important objectives is the improvement of residents’ life quality. The implementation of this concept concentrated around local communities, which should be considered as conscious development entity. Regarding such approach, the notion of sustainable development clearly outlines basic principles and provides a definition of life quality, as well as resolves the issues of improvement, considering both the objective and subjective aspects. The most important conclusions from the above considerations regarding the practical application of CLLD in rural areas have been included through the results of this analysis.},
