Description:

Photography (scan from a slide). The image shows three girls sticking on the wall of the house a figure of geometric shapes. In the middle are stuck on images of animals and humans. Girls also stick figures of people and animals from clay. It is a fragment of sanjhi rite done by unmarried girls. For a few days a month (the dark side of the lunar month just before the monsoon rainy season)they stick various patterns and images on the walls of houses, and the last day they carry clay images and sacrifice of food and on the banks of the river and throwing them into the water
