Photography (scan from a slide). The photo shows girls who are making figure of geometric shapes on the wall of the house. In the middle are stuck images of animals and humans. The girls also stick figures of people and animals from aluminum and paper. Two girls hold in their hands the plates with the sacrifice of food. It is a fragment of sanjhi rite done by unmarried girls. For a few days in the month (the dark side of the lunar month just before the start of the monsoon rainy season) they stick all kinds of patterns and images on the walls of houses, and on the last day they carry earthen images and sacrifice of food on the banks of the river and throw them into the water
