The woman and the girl are sitting on chopped logs/ branches. According to the photo's owner, it depicts Maria (...) - her grandmother’s sister - with grandmother’s daughter Dominika (...). Maria was a messenger of Bataliony Chłopskie [Peasants' Battalions] and used the code name „Mała” [the “Little One”].
